Big Kids BJJ

For Children ages eight to thirteen, your child will learn a solid base in our Carlson Gracie-based Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu system. All we ask of our members is to have TLC (To try, To listen, and To care about being there.) We warm up, Drill, and roll (grapple) in this class.

What They Learn

Self Defense

At its core BJJ is a martial art with a base for the smaller person defending themselves from an untrained larger person. Where we do not teach to win a fight but instead to not lose a fight.

Technique Development

At this level they are learning real tested techniques and applying them every classwhen we practice with training.

Life Skills

The intagible benefits of the program are that they learn how to make the right decissions, the cofindence to say no and how to be humble in victory and except defeat and grow from it.
